Spinning up some holiday cheer

Business problem

Each year, marketing service providers—especially ad agencies—look for fresh, inventive ways to share holiday greetings with clients, partners, and collaborators.

But how does one stand out and do something truly unique and memorable that hasn’t already been done?

Insight

With inboxes overflowing and clients trying to wrap the year up before they take a break for the holidays, even the most creative approaches risk getting overlooked, deleted or stuck in spam folders during the seasonal blitz.

Solution

To stand out and showcase our commitment to staying ahead of creative and technological trends, we reimagined the traditional holiday greeting as an AI-generated musical experience.

Using a blend of ChatGPT-generated prompts and a dash of human intervention to add some polish, we wrote original lyrics that aligned with our brand and struck the right balance of cleverness and warmth.

The lyrics were brought to life through Suno, a generative AI music creation program. We generated three distinct versions of the song in different genres—Country, Crooner, and R&B—to appeal to a range of tastes and reflect the diversity of our audience.

We paired the music with custom-designed record labels to complement each musical genre and brought them into Adobe Firefly to add some holiday pizzaz.

The greeting was delivered via email, consisting of a Chat GPT-inspired rhyme and Adobe Firefly-generated artwork.
